When the dealer has reached seventeen the dealer will look around the table to see which players have more than the dealer, and which players push with the dealer. For the players who have more than the dealer the dealer will match the players bets that the players made at the beginning of the round. If the players push with the dealer this means that the dealer and the player have tied. When there is a tie the player neither wins, nor loses. The player gets to retain the players bet, though. When the player has less than the dealer the player has to give the players bet to the dealer.
